A Bit About Emily
Emily Fox completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy through James Cook University in 2013. She began her physiotherapy career working in a general physiotherapy practice covering a variety of general physiotherapy work. She later developed a keen interest in headache, neck and jaw conditions and was fortunate enough to gain work in the area over a number of years. During this time she developed strong referral relationships and worked collaboratively with Oral maxillofacial surgeons, GPs, ENTs, Dentists, Prosthodontists and other health professionals. Whilst there is a genuine love for the treatment of all pain complaints, she became particularly passionate about the restoration of function and participation in life for those suffering with headache, spinal pain and temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
Emily enjoys facilitating the patient journey with care and individualised guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients. Her favourite part of the clinical journey is seeing her patients develop self efficacy and begin to take charge in their recovery. She believes that a thoughtful assessment and treatment approach is fundamental in ensuring that they have the confidence and tools to participate to the fullest.

In her spare time she enjoys doing Brazilian jiu jitsu, soccer, dancing, playing music and spending quality time with family and friends

A Bit About Max
Maxmilian Foo (Max for short) is a new graduate physiotherapist from Griffith University, graduating with a First Class Honours. He is a studious individual who has previously completed a Bachelor of Health Science, which he was a Dux recipient of, and a Master of Medical Research, contributing towards several clinical trials.
Max is an enthusiastic person who enjoys conversing with anyone. He is particularly a lover of learning, from topics in philosophy to financing to gardening, especially when it comes from others he speaks to.
Outside of work, Max spends his free time reading and diving deep into topics he has a vested interest in. He also spends his time exploring Australia’s vast landscape and an enjoyer of challenging hikes conquering Mount Beerwah 9 times when it was still open to the public. He is very committed to exercising daily with his partner and a vigilant participant of Parkrun on Saturdays.
Max is also a tutor on the musculoskeletal anatomy at Griffith University where he educates second year students on efficient ways to navigate through the body. He is also an alumnus that contributes his ongoing support to research in the cardiorespiratory system when available.
